WELCOME!

Okay! So I am going to try and give this blogging thing a try. I realize that I have been terrible at recording the events in our family. I am hoping that this will help motivate me!

About us:

If you are reading this you probably already know us but just humor me. We are the Hurts. Hence the blog title "World of Hurt." Despite our surname, our lives are not full of hurt, but quite enjoyable. There are 3 people in our little family. Kelly, that's me, Robin, Rob for short, and our little boy. He will be referred to as "b." I figure it's probably safer to leave his name out. We all reside in Mesa, where we all have lived our entire lives, minus Rob's mission to Portugal. Rob and I have been married for nearly 3 years and have the cutest little baby, who we think is our greatest accomplishment. Will post pictures soon! Rob works as an Engineer, by day, and a dad by night. I have the greatest job ever, a full-time mom! We have so much fun with our little man.

Introducing baby b:

He is a very mellow little baby who just loves to hang out. I count myself very blessed because we can take him anywhere. If I need to go shopping he comes along and just chills in the stroller or the cart. If we take him to a restaurant he is perfectly happy as long as he is fed and has cheerios. He will play by himself most of the time. I am loving this stage! His favorite things include: pushing boxes around, hitting things with his toy hammers, playing the drums, opening cupboards, going for walks, watching the dog play fetch, watching/playing with his cousins, playing in the bathtub, going swimming, and eating/devouring cheerios. As you can tell we are really LUCKY. I hope all of our children will have his temperament, but I am not holding me breath.
